Q: How Do Online Rentals Work At Intelliflix?
With Intelliflix Subscription Plans you can rent unlimited movies. There are over 60,000 titles to choose from! Once you select the DVDs you want to watch they are delivered to your door in 1-3 business days. Our Subscription Plans offer free shipping both ways (with envelopes we provide for you), and there are no late fees or due dates!

Intelliflix offers you the widest variety of plans at the lowest rates of any national online DVD movie rental company. You can choose from either our Movie Plans or from our combination Movie and Mature* Plans. Check out all the Intelliflix plans below to find one that fits your needs.

Getting started is easy, simply select the DVD's that you want to see and build a list called a “ Rental Queue”. Once your “Rental Queue” is established movies will be sent to you from this “Rental Queue” list. After viewing a DVD, send it back in the envelope we provided and we will send out the next available title in your "Rental Queue".

Q: How much is shipping?
It's free, both ways. Movies will be delivered to you in a 2-Way Orange & Blue DVD Envelope, which includes a prepaid mailer for you to return your DVD to us when you’re done watching it. You will be notified via e-mail every time a title is shipped and received. Shipping is always free both ways! *One DVD per envelope.

Q: Will I get all the latest movies the minute they come out?
Do you need to be one of the very first customers in America to get a Blu-Ray version of your favorite film? Well, if you are, we'll be honest with you - you won't get that kind of service here (probably not anywhere, but at least we're honest about it!).
We have a great selection of movies and mature adult titles. But, we also don't go out and buy so many of the latest movies that they're available Day 1 to every customer we have. We couldn't give you the great value we do if we overspent on inventory that way. If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks for that movie that was just released yesterday, you're fine. We pride ourselves on delivering more titles for less money than any other service. We also value our honesty, and feel it's important to set the record straight!

Q: How Do I Report A Shipping Problem Or DVD That Won't Play?
If you have any shipping problems, such as delayed arrival or incorrect shipments, you should report them via the Action bar next to the rented media title in your Rental Queue. You can also log on to your account information page to see your rental history.

Sometimes a DVD will not play because it has fingerprints or dirt on it. Use a clean dry lint-free cloth to gently wipe it off and then try to play the disc again. Do not apply record cleaning fluids, anti-static solutions or chemicals to clean a disc.

Q: What Happens When I Join and I Get A 'Username Already Exists' Message?
This means that you already have an account here. If you do not know your password, then you can have it emailed to you by entering the appropriate information on the log-in page.

The cancellation process is very easy and can be done by issuing a customer support trouble ticket. We will NEVER make it difficult to cancel unlike other companies out there. Note: Your membership will be cancelled at the end of your current membership.

Not getting our emails?

First please check to make sure your email spam filter is not blocking our emails from intellilfix.com or that your email service is not sending our emails to your junk email box.

We are sending emails to the email address that you used to sign up with. If you did not receive an email notification from us, it is possible that you did not enter the correct email address when you first registered. Locate your account information to correct this.

Received password but can't login?

Please note that our login services require that your browser is set to enable cookies from our web site intelliflix.com.

Also make sure you have entered your password exactly the way it was spelled in the e-mail notification sent to you.

Did you forget or misspell your username (login ID)? Username = e-mail address.

Our passwords are case sensitive. Check that you are using the correct case. Is the "Caps Lock" or "A" light on your keyboard on? If so, hit "Caps Lock" key before trying again.

Passwords should be letters or numbers only — no spaces or special characters.
Try refreshing your browser before you enter your password again.

Is the "Remember my password"-option turned on? If so, make sure your username (login ID) and password are registered correctly. Try typing the entire username and password again.

Q it Now & High Demand (Movie Availability)

Q it Now?

When you find a DVD you like, click on the "Q it Now" button and the DVD will automatically be placed it your Rental Queue. The button will now be green and will read "In Queue". Now you'll know when your browsing if a DVD is already in your Rental Queue.

High Demand (Movie Availability)
We don't hide the fact that some titles are rare or in high demand. We tell you when a DVD is in High Demand by displaying this message to you before the DVD is entered into your Rental Queue.

"This title is in high demand and it's not likely that you will get it in the next 30 days. We will ship it out as it becomes available, on a first-come, first-served basis."

The DVD is then entered into your Rental Queue, it will be displayed in the Rental Queue Waiting Area at the bottom of the page and will be automatically placed in your regular Rental Queue for shipment as soon as it becomes available. To view DVDs in this area click on [expand] .

Shipping Questions

Q: How Long Will It Take To Get My Rentals?
Our goal is to deliver your DVD's to your mailbox in 1 to 3 business days (depending on origin and availability). We now have more distribution centers across the country than any other DVD rental company, and we ship six days a week. You will be notified via e-mail every time a title is shipped. As we continue to add distribution centers, your delivery time will become even faster.

Q: It's been over 7 days and the rental has not gotten to its destination. What do I do?
Typically all DVD's arrive in a timely manner, but if it has been over a week since the DVD has been marked shipped/mailed and you still haven't received it, or if it has been over a week since you mailed it back to us and we haven't received it, then you need to notify us via the support ticket system. We will begin an investigation immediately, and let you know when your next title will be shipped.

Q: What If My Rental Arrives Damaged Or Broken?
Simply click the appropriate action bar next to that title in your Rental Queue to let us know. We will promptly send you a replacement movie or the next movie in your Rental Queue.

Returning Your Rentals

You may always keep your subscription rentals for as long as you wish and you will never pay a late fee. The pay per rental plan has a 5 day rental period, and $1.50 for each additional viewing day…but no late fees. Once you are done with the rental, simply drop it into any U.S. mailbox using the prepaid mailer provided. ALWAYS keep the original pre-paid mailer intact. It will be used to return your movies back to us.

Billing And Membership Fees

Billing for subscription programs is on a monthly basis. Your account will be re billed on your monthly anniversary date. Account cancellations, upgrades ,and downgrades do NOT take place immediately. All changes will take place at the end of your current billing cycle as long as the minimum Movies Out is maintained for the plan you wish to move to. For example, if you cancel and still have movies out, you will still be billed.

Billing for Pay Per Rental occurs at the time that the rental is placed. In the event that the movie is not postmarked by the return date on the DVD sleeve, you can continue to keep the movie out for up to 21 days for an additional $1.50 per day. In the event that the movie is not received by the 28th day after the original rental expiration, you will be billed an additional $25 for movies and $45 for games (over and above additional viewing fees) and you own the title.

Payment - Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as "Online Movie Rentals". We accept most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). Your credit card will be charged through our 128-bit encrypted secure server system at the time of the transaction. We cannot accept Checks or Money Orders at this time. You must be 18 years of age to become a member. When purchasing your membership, please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information may cause your account to be rejected. Intelliflix will only ship orders to the cardholder, except in the case of gift cards purchased for a third party by the card holder.

Credit Card Security Intelliflix uses a 128-bit encryption secure server. When you place your orders, the secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you enter before it is even transmitted to us so that the data passed between your computer and our server is unlikely to be compromised. We also require that you enter your username and password each time you come to our site to provide maximum security.

NOTICE: It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted. Each electronic entry carries the computer coding of the internet provider through which the individual User can be traced.

Privacy Policy

Your name will never end up on a mailing list as a result of becoming a member of Intelliflix. We NEVER release information about our members to a third party. Also, titles will NEVER appear on your billing record. Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as "Online Movie Rentals". Read more information about our Privacy Policy.

DVD Won't Play?  / DVD Care and Handling

Sometimes a DVD will not play because it has fingerprints or dirt on it. Use a clean dry lint-free cloth to gently wipe it off and then try to play the disc again. Do not apply record cleaning fluids, anti-static solutions or chemicals to clean a disc.

DVD's are very durable, however, we ask that you take some simple precautions and exercise basic care and handling to help us maintain the integrity of the DVD. Only handle the DVD by its outer edge to prevent fingerprints. When not in use, please keep the DVD inside its protective cover. When returning the disc, please make sure you also include the sleeve with the discs information or we will not know whom the DVD came from. Movies will be delivered to you in a 2-Way Orange & Blue DVD Envelope, which includes a prepaid mailer for you to return your DVD to us when you’re done watching it. Also make sure you match the numbers on the outside of the envelopes. You will be notified via e-mail every time a title is shipped and received. Shipping is always free both ways! *One DVD per envelope.

Game Rentals?

Intelliflix eliminated the game offering for new customers in June of 2007. Due to the continually changing market for games and game consoles, we made this decision in order to focus our resources on providing the highest quality movie rental experience for our customers. Intelliflix customers that had a Premium membership prior to this change will be grandfathered in, and thus still be allowed to rent games as part of their plan.

What about telephone support?
We do not provide telephone support for one simple reason...to keep your costs down. The average incoming call costs a company $7 to facilitate, and these costs are essentially passed down to the members. We do have a web-based support team with individuals that personally handle your support tickets. Their pledge is to handle your questions within one business day. This process allows us to invest these dollars into faster shipping and better inventory, which our customers have told is most important to them.
